"Kentucky Woman" was played occasionally throughout 1968 and 1969, missing on several of the complete concert setlists from both years. Despite not being a constant, the song was one of the few Mk 1 songs to be sung by Ian Gillan following his introduction to the band, and a live recording of Ian Gillan singing it can be heard on Live in Montreux 1969. This album contains the most recent known performance of "Kentucky Woman". Rod Evans can be heard singing the song a year earlier on Inglewood: Live in California.
